Saki's 2003 Nice/Naughty List

With the holidays upon us, everyone is coming up with their "best DVDs of 2003" list, and I'm no exception.  Here are my picks for the best adult discs released in 2003, listed alphabetically and grouped by mood.  Those looking for plot-based or movie-quality porn, check out the picks under the "Nice" list, while those who prefer as much sex as possible, "Naughty" is the place to go.

Hard Edge (Studio A) - Andrew Blake's most explicit film in years, this is about as classy as porn is ever going to get.  [Review] Hercules (Wicked) - Maybe the funniest adult comedy ever....it also has a lot of sex (10 scenes in all) and a Parthenon full of extras. Rawhide (Adam & Eve) - Another 10-scene mega production, this Western set in 1875 California has enough story and enough sex to keep everyone watching (and if more than two and a half hours isn't enough, there's a disc full of extras and a CD soundtrack too). Space Nuts (Wicked) - While I don't think it's the funniest of Jonathan Morgan's sex comedies, this parody is good for an evening of chuckles (especially the cameo with Ron Jeremy!).  Oh yeah, there's a lot of fucking too with--you guessed it--10 sex scenes over three hours.

Belladonna's Evil Pink (Evil Angel) - Bella's Evil Angel directorial debut is a nasty all-girl affair that puts most girl-girl titles to shame.  [Review] The Fashionistas (Evil Angel) - Perhaps the best hardcore feature ever filmed...a five-star must have for BDSM-types and the sexually adventurous.  [Review] Flesh Hunter 4 (Evil Angel) -  Eye candy galore: Cris Taliana's debut, Natasha's public flashing, and fan fave Amee Donovan taking on three big cocks.  [Review] Flesh Hunter 5 (Evil Angel) - Tools in Taylor Rain's ass and good PTM action make this another Jules Jordan winner. Shane's World 32: Campus Invasion 1 (Digital Sin) - Hands down the most fun video of the year as porn stars descend onto Indiana University. Teen Dreams 3 (Digital Sin) - Fresh faces plus big cocks make for some arousing porno. Thomas Zupko's Opera (Elegant Angel) - Italian opera and porn?  Surprisingly, it works...easily one of the most creative adult films in years. Weapons of Ass Destruction 2 (Evil Angel) - Jessica Darlin returns from retirement, Catalina takes a milk enema, and Gauge earns every penny of her $1500 paycheck in an amazing DP scene.  [Review]

Before you shower me with hate mail for forgetting a favorite of yours, keep in mind that I'm pretty particular when it comes to the porn I like.  As I write this, I also haven't seen a few of the more notable releases, including titles like Flesh Hunter 6, Heroin, Marie and Jack: A Hardcore Love Story, Cleopatra, Barbara Broadcast Too, and too many to mention from studios like Red Light District, Evolution Erotica, and Platinum X.  Others, like Falling From Grace, Island Fever 2, No Limits, and The Scottish Loveknot may have been big hits, but I didn't really care for them.
